Auth0 MCP connector

The Auth0 connector brings your Auth0 users, roles, permissions, organizations, and login logs into Elaichi, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any MCP client can look them up and change them as the person who signed in.

  • How it connects. App credentials. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

How to connect

How to connect Auth0 to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Two steps, about a minute.

1

In Elaichi

Connect Auth0 once

  1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Auth0.

  2. Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.

  3. Paste your Auth0 app credentials. Auth0 authenticates the app rather than a person. One person supplies the credentials once, and everyone else works through Share with.

The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.

Use cases

What teams do with Auth0 through Elaichi

Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.

  • IT

Set up a new hire in Auth0

Create the user, attach the right role, and add them to their organization in one request instead of clicking through three screens.

  • Support

Check why a customer cannot log in

Pull up a user by email, read their recent login logs, and see which permissions they hold before replying to the ticket.

  • Security

Review who holds an admin role

List every role, see which permissions each one grants, and spot accounts that carry more access than their job needs.

  • Customer success

    Onboard a new customer organization

Create the organization in Auth0, add its first members, and confirm the details match the contract before the kickoff call.

  • Compliance

    Answer an access audit question

Get a list of users and their permissions for a given organization, then summarize it for the auditor without exporting a spreadsheet.

  • IT

    Clean up stale accounts

Find users who have not logged in for months and remove them in bulk once a manager has confirmed the list.

Try asking

  • “List Auth0 users who gained the admin role this week.”
  • “Which permissions are attached to the Support role in Auth0?”
  • “Show login logs for this Auth0 user since Monday.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Auth0 to Claude?

Connect Auth0 in Elaichi first: pick Auth0 from the catalog and enter your Auth0 tenant's application credentials when prompted, there is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then open Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp as the endpoint. Claude asks you to sign in to Elaichi, and from then on Auth0 users, roles, and organizations are available inside your chats.

Does Auth0 work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once Auth0 is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Auth0 once and every client you use sees it.

What can an AI agent actually do with my Auth0 data?

With Auth0 connected, an agent can find a user by email, read their login logs, list the permissions they hold, create or update users, and remove accounts you no longer need. It can also list and manage roles and their permissions, and create or update customer organizations and add members to them. Because Auth0 exposes hundreds of actions, short concrete asks like "show the permissions on the Support role" work better than long paragraphs.

Does connecting Auth0 give the AI access to my whole tenant?

No. Every call to Auth0 runs inside the access of the person who signed in, so an agent working for a support rep can only see and change what that rep could in Auth0 itself. Elaichi can narrow that further with restrictions per action, and it can never widen access beyond what the person already has in Auth0.

Can my team share one Auth0 connection?

Yes. One administrator connects Auth0 in Elaichi and shares the connection with a team, and nobody else on that team ever handles the Auth0 credentials. Each person still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so every change to an Auth0 user, role, or organization is logged under the name of the person who made it.

Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Auth0?

Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi work per action, so you can allow reading Auth0 users and login logs while blocking delete, bulk delete, or role changes. A blocked action is never advertised to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any other client, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.

What happens to an Auth0 connection when someone leaves?

Offboarding the person in Elaichi ends their access to Auth0 through every client at once. If they were using a shared Auth0 connection, it keeps working for everyone else on the team. If the company later wants Auth0 gone entirely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client at the same time.

Does the Auth0 MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. Auth0 is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Auth0?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Auth0. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Auth0 call.

How is Elaichi different from Composio for Auth0?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Auth0: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
