Momence MCP connector

The Momence connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent look up members, appointments, and memberships in Momence and make everyday changes, with each person signed in as themselves and every action recorded.

  • How it connects. Connects over OAuth. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

How to connect

How to connect Momence to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Two steps, about a minute.

1

In Elaichi

Connect Momence once

  1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Momence.

  2. Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.

  3. Supply your own Momence app, then approve. Momence needs an OAuth app you register yourself, so bring its client ID and secret. One person does this once for the organization.

The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.

Use cases

What teams do with Momence through Elaichi

Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.

  • Front desk

Check who is booked in today

Pull up the appointment reservations for the day and see which clients are coming in, so the desk is ready before the first class starts.

  • Membership

Freeze memberships for a batch of clients

When a group of members asks to pause over the summer, freeze their memberships in one pass instead of opening each account by hand, and unfreeze them the same way when they return.

  • Client services

Fix member contact details after a move

Update names, phone numbers, and email addresses across many member records at once when a client changes details or a duplicate has to be cleaned up.

  • Sales

Sign up a walk-in on the spot

Create the new member record and start a checkout for the membership they picked while they are still standing at the counter.

  • Studio management

See which memberships are still active

Ask for the list of active bought memberships and spot who is nearing the end of a plan or has credits left to use.

  • Finance

Adjust credits and set up checkout prices

Top up or correct class credits on bought memberships in bulk, and create a price for a new package so it can be checked out straight away.

Try asking

  • “List tomorrow's appointment reservations for the studio.”
  • “Which active bought memberships expire this month?”
  • “Freeze memberships for members away in August.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Momence to Claude?

First, register an OAuth application inside your Momence account and paste its client ID and secret into Elaichi once when you add the Momence connector; after that nobody has to handle those values again. Second, open Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp as the address. Claude will ask you to sign in with your own Elaichi login, and Momence is then available in your conversations.

Does Momence work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once Momence is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Momence once and use it from whichever client your team prefers.

What can an AI agent actually do with my Momence data?

An agent connected to Momence can look up members and their appointments, list today's reservations, show which bought memberships are active, and pull up a single member's record. It can also add a new member, create a checkout or a price, freeze or unfreeze memberships in bulk, adjust credits, and update names, phone numbers, and emails. Because Momence exposes a lot of actions, short concrete asks such as "list active memberships" work better than long paragraphs.

Does connecting Momence give the AI access to every member and membership?

No. Access to Momence follows the person who signed in, so the agent can only see the members, appointments, and memberships that person could already see in Momence. Elaichi can narrow that access further, for example to read-only, but it can never widen it beyond what the person already has.

Can my team share one Momence connection?

Yes. One person connects Momence in Elaichi and shares the connection with a team, and nobody else ever sees or handles the client ID, secret, or any credential. Each teammate still signs in as themselves, so the audit log names the actual person who looked up a member or froze a membership in Momence.

Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Momence?

Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi apply per action, so you can allow reading Momence members and appointments while blocking bulk updates, freezes, or deletions of phone numbers. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT, or any other client at all, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.

What happens to a Momence connection when someone leaves?

When you offboard someone in Elaichi, their access to Momence through every client ends at once. A Momence connection that was shared with a team keeps working for everyone else on that team. If you want Momence gone entirely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client together.

Does the Momence MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. Momence is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Momence?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Momence. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Momence call.

How is Elaichi different from Composio for Momence?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Momence: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
