Ordoro MCP connector

The Ordoro connector brings orders, shipping details, addresses and dropship requests into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and the Elaichi Agent, so your team can look up, update and ship orders by asking, inside the access they already have.

  • How it connects. Connects with an API key. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

How to connect

How to connect Ordoro to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Two steps, about a minute.

1

In Elaichi

Connect Ordoro once

  1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Ordoro.

  2. Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.

  3. Paste an Ordoro API key. One person generates a token in Ordoro and pastes it once. Everyone else works through Share with, and never sees it.

The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Ordoro to Claude?

Two steps. In Elaichi, choose Ordoro from the catalog and paste in the API key from your Ordoro account, there is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Sign in with your Elaichi account and Ordoro orders are available in Claude.

Does Ordoro work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Ordoro is connected once in Elaichi, and the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, is added to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. Nothing about the Ordoro connection changes from one client to the next.

What can an AI agent actually do with my Ordoro data?

With Ordoro connected, an agent can find an order by number or customer, correct a shipping address, move an order to another warehouse, cancel it, or add tracking once it ships. It can create dropship requests and process dropshipments, and apply shipping or return presets to orders. Because Ordoro exposes many actions, short concrete asks like "cancel order 10482" work better than long paragraphs.

Does connecting Ordoro give the AI everything in my account?

No. The Ordoro connection carries only the access of the API key the person supplied, and every action runs inside that access. Elaichi can narrow what an agent may do in Ordoro, for example to read orders but never cancel them, and it can never widen access beyond what that person already has.

Can my team share one Ordoro connection?

Yes. One person connects Ordoro in Elaichi and shares it with a team, and nobody else ever handles the Ordoro API key. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so the audit log names the person who changed a warehouse or cancelled an order, not the person who connected the account.

Can I stop an agent from cancelling or changing orders in Ordoro?

Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi work per action, so you can allow looking up Ordoro orders while blocking cancellations, address changes or dropship processing. A blocked action is never advertised to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor at all, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.

What happens to an Ordoro connection when someone leaves?

Offboarding a person in Elaichi ends their access to Ordoro through every AI client at once. If they had shared the Ordoro connection with a team, it keeps working for everyone else. If you disconnect Ordoro once in Elaichi, it disappears from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other client together.

Does the Ordoro MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. Ordoro is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Ordoro?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Ordoro. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Ordoro call.

How is Elaichi different from Composio for Ordoro?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Ordoro: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
