How do I connect Postmark to Claude?
First, connect Postmark in Elaichi by pasting in the API key from your Postmark account. There is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then open Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste in https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Sign in as yourself and Postmark is ready to use in Claude.
Does Postmark work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?
Yes. Once Postmark is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Postmark once and every client picks it up.
What can an AI agent actually do with my Postmark data?
With Postmark connected, an agent can send single, bulk, and templated emails, look up bounces and reactivate an address, read delivery stats, and create, update, validate, or push templates between servers. It can also list your Postmark servers and update their settings. Postmark has a lot of capabilities, so short concrete asks such as "show me yesterday's bounces" work better than long paragraphs.
Does connecting Postmark give the AI access to every server and template?
No. The agent only sees what the Postmark API key you connected can see, so access follows the person who signed in and the servers that key covers. Elaichi can narrow that further, for example to reading bounces and stats without sending mail, but it can never widen it beyond what Postmark itself allows.
Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Postmark?
Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi work per action, so you can allow reading bounces and delivery stats while blocking template deletion, server changes, or sending altogether. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor at all, so no prompt can reach it.
What happens to a Postmark connection when someone leaves?
When you offboard someone in Elaichi, their access to Postmark through every client ends at once, and their past actions stay in the audit log. A shared Postmark connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you disconnect Postmark in Elaichi, it disappears from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client in one step.
Does the Postmark MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?
Yes. Postmark is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.
Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Postmark?
