Superblocks MCP connector

The Superblocks connector brings your Superblocks users and groups into Elaichi, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client can look up, add, update, and remove people and group memberships in Superblocks under your own access.

  • How it connects. Connects with an API key. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

How to connect

How to connect Superblocks to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Two steps, about a minute.

1

In Elaichi

Connect Superblocks once

  1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Superblocks.

  2. Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.

  3. Paste a Superblocks API key. One person generates a token in Superblocks and pastes it once. Everyone else works through Share with, and never sees it.

The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.

In your AI client

Point it at one endpoint

Everyone in the organization uses the same address, and each person only ever reaches what their own account allows.

Use cases

What teams do with Superblocks through Elaichi

Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.

  • IT

Set up a new hire in Superblocks

Create the person's Superblocks account and drop them into the right groups on their first morning, without opening the admin console.

  • IT

Offboard a leaver the same day

Find everyone who left this week, remove them from their Superblocks groups, and deactivate or delete their accounts in one pass.

  • Security

    Check who can reach Superblocks

Ask for a full list of Superblocks users and the groups each belongs to, then flag anyone who should not be there.

  • Operations

Move a whole team into a new group

Create a Superblocks group for a reorganized team and add every member at once instead of one by one.

  • People

    Keep names and titles current

After a promotion or a name change, update the person's Superblocks record so it matches the HR system.

  • Compliance

    Answer an access review question

Pull the members of a sensitive Superblocks group and hand the auditor a list with every change traceable in the log.

Try asking

  • “List all Superblocks SCIM groups and their member counts.”
  • “Which Superblocks SCIM users were created in the last 14 days?”
  • “Add the new joiner to the Superblocks engineering SCIM group.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Superblocks to Claude?

In Elaichi, choose Superblocks and paste in a Superblocks API key; that is the whole sign-in step, and there is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Claude asks you to sign in to Elaichi, and from then on it can work with Superblocks as you.

Does Superblocks work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once Superblocks is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client, and the Elaichi agent. You connect Superblocks once and every client picks it up.

What can an AI agent actually do with my Superblocks data?

With Superblocks connected, an agent can list the people and groups in your Superblocks organization, look up a single person, add a new user, change their details, and remove them. It can also create groups, edit who is in them, and handle a batch of these changes in one go, so onboarding a team or clearing out leavers becomes a request in plain language rather than a session in the admin console.

Does connecting Superblocks give the AI access to every user and group?

Only what the person who connected Superblocks can already see and change. The Superblocks API key you paste carries its own permissions, and every call runs inside them. Elaichi can narrow that further with restrictions, but it can never grant anything the Superblocks account itself does not have.

Can my team share one Superblocks connection?

Yes. One administrator connects Superblocks in Elaichi and shares the connection with a team, and nobody else ever sees or handles the Superblocks API key. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so every change to a Superblocks user or group is logged under the name of the person who asked for it.

Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Superblocks?

Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi apply per action, so you can allow listing and looking up Superblocks users and groups while blocking deletes, updates, or bulk changes. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any other client, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.

What happens to a Superblocks connection when someone leaves?

When you offboard a person in Elaichi, their access to Superblocks through Elaichi ends immediately across every client. If they were using a shared Superblocks connection, it keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you need to remove Superblocks entirely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client at the same time.

Does the Superblocks MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. Superblocks is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Superblocks?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Superblocks. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Superblocks call.

How is Elaichi different from Composio for Superblocks?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Superblocks: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
