Trustpilot MCP connector

The Trustpilot connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client read your Trustpilot product reviews, review summaries, and company profile, and reply inside review conversations, all within each person's own Trustpilot access.

  • How it connects. Connects over OAuth. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

How to connect

How to connect Trustpilot to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Two steps, about a minute.

1

In Elaichi

Connect Trustpilot once

  1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick Trustpilot.

  2. Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.

  3. Supply your own Trustpilot app, then approve. Trustpilot needs an OAuth app you register yourself, so bring its client ID and secret. One person does this once for the organization.

The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Trustpilot to Claude?

First, register an OAuth application inside your Trustpilot business account and paste its client ID and secret into Elaichi once, then sign in to Trustpilot when Elaichi asks. Second, in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp as the address. Claude will ask you to sign in to Elaichi, and after that Trustpilot is available in your conversations. Nobody else on the team has to touch the client ID or secret again.

Does Trustpilot work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once Trustpilot is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Trustpilot once and every client picks it up.

What can an AI agent actually do with my Trustpilot data?

An agent can list your Trustpilot product reviews, read the summaries and attribute breakdowns behind them, look up a specific private review, and open or reply to the conversation attached to it. It can also create review invitation links, fetch your company profile, logo, images, and web links, and search Trustpilot for other businesses and categories. Because Trustpilot exposes a lot of actions, short concrete asks like "summarize reviews for the blue jacket" work better than long paragraphs.

Does connecting Trustpilot give the AI access to my whole business account?

No. Every request runs as the person who signed in, so the AI sees only the Trustpilot business units, product reviews, and conversations that person can already open. Elaichi can narrow that further, for example to reading reviews and summaries only, but it can never grant more than Trustpilot itself allows that person.

Can my team share one Trustpilot connection?

Yes. One person connects Trustpilot in Elaichi and shares the connection with a team, and nobody else ever handles the client ID, secret, or a login. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so the audit log records who read which Trustpilot reviews and who replied in which conversation.

Can I stop an agent from changing things in Trustpilot?

Yes. In Elaichi you restrict Trustpilot action by action, so you can allow reading reviews and summaries while blocking replies in conversations or the creation of invitation links. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor at all, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.

What happens to a Trustpilot connection when someone leaves?

When you offboard a person in Elaichi, their access to Trustpilot through every AI client ends immediately. If they had shared a Trustpilot connection with a team, the connection keeps working for everyone else. Disconnecting Trustpilot once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client at the same time.

Does the Trustpilot MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. Trustpilot is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Trustpilot?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Trustpilot. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Trustpilot call.

How is Elaichi different from Composio for Trustpilot?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Trustpilot: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
