Zoho Billing MCP connector

The Zoho Billing connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client look up, create and update your plans, products and items, working as the person who signed in and logging every change.

  • How it connects. Connects over OAuth. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Zoho Billing to Claude?

Connect Zoho Billing in Elaichi first: Zoho Billing signs in with an API key, so you paste the key from your Zoho Billing account and you are done, with no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then open Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Claude signs you in through Elaichi and Zoho Billing is available in the conversation.

Does Zoho Billing work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once Zoho Billing is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Zoho Billing once and every client picks it up.

What can an AI agent actually do with my Zoho Billing data?

An agent connected to Zoho Billing can list and look up your organizations, items, products and plans, create new ones, update prices and details, mark products and items active or inactive, and update product email templates in bulk. Short, concrete asks such as "list active plans for the Pro product" work better than long paragraphs.

Does connecting Zoho Billing give the AI access to everything in my organization?

No. Every call to Zoho Billing runs as the person who signed in, so the agent sees only the organizations, plans and products that person can already see in Zoho Billing. Elaichi can narrow that further with roles and restrictions, but it can never widen it.

Can my team share one Zoho Billing connection?

Yes. One person connects Zoho Billing with the API key and shares the connection with a team in Elaichi, and nobody else ever handles the key. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so the audit log names who changed which plan or product.

Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in Zoho Billing?

Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi apply per action, so you can allow reading Zoho Billing plans and products while blocking deleting items or changing prices. A restricted action is never advertised to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor at all, so no prompt can reach it.

What happens to a Zoho Billing connection when someone leaves?

Offboarding a person in Elaichi ends their access to Zoho Billing through every client at once. If they connected a shared Zoho Billing account, it keeps working for everyone else on the team. Disconnecting Zoho Billing once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and every other client together.

Does the Zoho Billing MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. Zoho Billing is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Zoho Billing?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Zoho Billing. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Zoho Billing call.

How is Elaichi different from Composio for Zoho Billing?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Zoho Billing: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
