LearnWorlds MCP connector

The LearnWorlds connector brings your school's learners, roles, and groups into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent, so anyone on your team can look up a learner or group by asking, inside their own LearnWorlds access.

  • How it connects. Connects with an API key. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

How to connect

How to connect LearnWorlds to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Two steps, about a minute.

1

In Elaichi

Connect LearnWorlds once

  1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick LearnWorlds.

  2. Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.

  3. Paste a LearnWorlds API key. One person generates a token in LearnWorlds and pastes it once. Everyone else works through Share with, and never sees it.

The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.

Use cases

What teams do with LearnWorlds through Elaichi

Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.

  • Customer Education

Look up a learner before a call

Ask for a learner by name or email and get their LearnWorlds profile, role, and group in one answer, so you walk into the conversation knowing who they are.

  • Support

Check a learner's account while they wait

When someone writes in saying they cannot find their course, confirm their LearnWorlds account exists, which group they belong to, and what role they hold, without opening the admin panel.

  • Learning & Development

See how your learning groups are organized

List every group in your LearnWorlds school and open any one of them to review its details, so you can spot cohorts that overlap or teams that have no group yet.

  • Operations

Audit who holds admin and instructor roles

Pull the full list of LearnWorlds roles and the people assigned to each, then ask which accounts have more access than their job needs.

  • Sales

Find out if a prospect already has learners

Before a renewal or expansion conversation, ask whether people from a customer's company already have LearnWorlds accounts and which groups they sit in.

  • People

Confirm new hires have school accounts

After onboarding week, ask which of the new starters appear in LearnWorlds and which are still missing, and pass the gaps to whoever creates accounts.

Try asking

  • “List all LearnWorlds users in the Instructors group.”
  • “Which roles does this LearnWorlds user hold?”
  • “Show every LearnWorlds group and its member count.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect LearnWorlds to Claude?

Connect LearnWorlds in Elaichi first: pick LearnWorlds from the catalog and paste the API key from your LearnWorlds school settings when asked. There is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Claude will ask you to sign in to Elaichi and LearnWorlds is ready to use.

Does LearnWorlds work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once LearnWorlds is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect LearnWorlds once and every client you use picks it up.

What can an AI agent actually do with my LearnWorlds data?

With this connector an AI agent can look up learners in your LearnWorlds school, open a single learner to see their details, list the roles in your school, and list or open your learner groups. That means you can ask things like who is in a particular group, which accounts hold the instructor role, or whether a specific person has an account. This connector reads from LearnWorlds; it does not create, edit, or delete anything.

Does connecting LearnWorlds give the AI access to my whole school?

The AI only sees what the LearnWorlds API key used to connect can see, and each person still signs in to Elaichi as themselves. Elaichi can narrow that access further, for example limiting a team to looking up groups but not individual learners, and it can never widen it beyond what LearnWorlds allows.

Can my team share one LearnWorlds connection?

Yes. One administrator connects LearnWorlds in Elaichi and shares the connection with a team, and nobody else ever handles the API key. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so every lookup against LearnWorlds is recorded in the audit log under their own name.

Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in LearnWorlds?

This LearnWorlds connector is read only, so an agent cannot delete or edit learners, roles, or groups through it. Beyond that, Elaichi restrictions work per action: any action you block is never offered to Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor at all, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.

What happens to a LearnWorlds connection when someone leaves?

When you offboard a person in Elaichi, their access to LearnWorlds through every client ends at once. A shared LearnWorlds connection keeps working for everyone else on the team. If you ever want to remove LearnWorlds entirely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client at the same time.

Does the LearnWorlds MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. LearnWorlds is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for LearnWorlds?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use LearnWorlds. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every LearnWorlds call.

How is Elaichi different from Composio for LearnWorlds?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to LearnWorlds: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
