Orderly MCP connector
The Orderly connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent place, review, and cancel Orderly orders, adjust margin, move funds between accounts, and report on trading volume, with every action tied to the person who signed in.

One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

Use cases
What teams do with Orderly through Elaichi
Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.
-
Trading
Place and adjust orders in plain language
Ask for a limit order at a given price and size, then change it or pull it when the market moves. The agent works the order book on Orderly so the trader keeps eyes on the screen.
-
Trading
Clear the book at the end of a session
Cancel every open Orderly order in one ask, or set a timer that cancels them automatically if nobody checks in, so nothing is left working overnight by accident.
-
Risk
Check margin mode and position margin
See which margin mode each Orderly account is using and add or reduce margin on a position before a large move, without opening the exchange interface.
-
Treasury
Move funds between Orderly sub-accounts
Create an internal transfer from the main account to a desk account and list past transfers to reconcile balances at the end of the day.
-
Operations
Report daily and lifetime trading volume
Pull daily volume and account statistics from Orderly to fill in the weekly desk report or answer a partner asking about fee tiers.
-
Security
Review and tighten API key restrictions
Look up which Orderly keys are active, see which IP addresses each key allows, lock a key to the office network, or remove a key that should no longer exist.
Try asking
- “Show me all open orders on Orderly this week.”
- “Which positions have the highest margin usage right now?”
- “List internal transfers made across Orderly accounts today.”

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect Orderly to Claude?
Two steps. In Elaichi, choose Orderly and paste in the API key you generate from your Orderly account; there is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to create. Then in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste the Elaichi endpoint https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp. Claude will ask you to sign in to Elaichi, and from then on it can work with your Orderly orders, margin, and transfers.
Does Orderly work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?
Yes. Once Orderly is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect Orderly once and every client your team uses picks it up.
What can an AI agent actually do with my Orderly account?
It can place, look up, update, and cancel Orderly orders, cancel everything open at once, check and change margin mode and position margin, move funds between Orderly accounts, and report daily volume and account statistics. It can also review API keys and their IP restrictions. Because Orderly exposes over a hundred actions, short specific asks such as "cancel all open orders on the BTC market" work better than long paragraphs.
Does connecting Orderly give the AI access to every account and every action?
No. Each person signs in to Elaichi as themselves, and the agent can only act within what that person's own Orderly API key already allows. Elaichi can narrow that further, for example limiting a desk to reading orders and volume, but it can never grant anything the key does not already have.
Can I stop an agent from placing or cancelling orders in Orderly?
Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi apply per action, so you can allow reading Orderly orders, positions, and volume while blocking order placement, cancellation, transfers, or key changes. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any other client, so no prompt can trigger it.
What happens to an Orderly connection when someone leaves?
Offboarding that person in Elaichi ends their access to Orderly immediately across every client they used. If the Orderly connection was shared with a team, it keeps working for everyone else. Disconnecting Orderly once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client at the same time.
Does the Orderly MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?
Yes. Orderly is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.
Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for Orderly?
Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use Orderly. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every Orderly call.
How is Elaichi different from Composio for Orderly?
Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to Orderly: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.
