ConnectWise PSA MCP connector

The ConnectWise PSA connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent work with your service tickets, notes, boards, companies, contacts, and members, with every action running under the signed-in person's own access and recorded in an audit log.

  • How it connects. Connects with an API key. The credential goes into a vault nobody reads back.

  • One address. https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, the same for every user.

  • Their own access. An agent never gets more than the person it acts for.

How to connect

How to connect ConnectWise PSA to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Two steps, about a minute.

1

In Elaichi

Connect ConnectWise PSA once

  1. Open Connections, choose Add connection, and pick ConnectWise PSA.

  2. Optionally set Share with to give a team access, then press Connect.

  3. Paste a ConnectWise PSA API key. One person generates a token in ConnectWise PSA and pastes it once. Everyone else works through Share with, and never sees it.

The credential is vaulted. Nobody reads it back, not even the AI.

Use cases

What teams do with ConnectWise PSA through Elaichi

Every one of these runs inside the access the person already has, and lands in the same audit log.

  • Service desk

Log a ticket while the client is on the phone

Describe the problem in plain language and a ticket is created in ConnectWise PSA against the right company and contact, on the right board, before the call ends.

  • Service desk

Catch the ticket up after the fix

Tell the agent what you did and it adds the note to the ConnectWise PSA ticket and updates the status, so the record reflects the work without a second trip into the board.

  • Dispatch

See what is waiting on each board

Ask for open tickets on a board, who they are assigned to, and how long they have been sitting, and get the answer from live ConnectWise PSA tickets rather than a stale export.

  • Account management

Prepare for a client review in minutes

Pull a company's recent tickets, notes, and contacts from ConnectWise PSA and get a summary of recurring issues to bring into the meeting.

  • Service management

Find stale tickets before the client does

Ask which ConnectWise PSA tickets have had no note in five days, or which are still open past their board's usual turnaround, and hand the list to the team that owns them.

  • Operations

    Keep the member list current

When a technician changes role or joins a new team, update their ConnectWise PSA member record by asking for the change rather than clicking through the setup screens.

Try asking

  • “Show open tickets on the Service Desk board”
  • “Summarize ticket notes added for Acme this week”
  • “List contacts at companies with escalated tickets”

Use the fields query parameter to narrow the payload when you only need a few properties. This endpoint takes no filtering or paging parameters - conditions, order_by and page apply to tickets.list, not here. Required: id.
Create a ConnectWise PSA ticket Create Create a new Ticket in ConnectWise PSA
Update a ConnectWise PSA ticket by ID Update Replace/update a Ticket in ConnectWise PSA
Delete a ConnectWise PSA ticket by ID Delete Permanently delete a service ticket from ConnectWise PSA. Returns an empty 204 No Content on success. Pass the ticket's own id as the record identifier; no query parameters are used. IRREVERSIBLE AND CASCADING: ConnectWise does not soft-delete tickets. Deleting a ticket also discards everything attached to it - notes, time entries, scheduled entries, tasks, products, configurations and document references - and none of it can be recovered. There is no undo. Before calling this, confirm you have the right record with tickets.get, and prefer closing the ticket via tickets.update (setting status to a closed board status) whenever the intent is to take it out of the queue rather than erase it. A ticket that is referenced by an invoice or an agreement may be rejected by ConnectWise with a 400 or 409 rather than deleted. Required: id.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect ConnectWise PSA to Claude?

First connect ConnectWise PSA in Elaichi. Because ConnectWise PSA connects with an API key, you paste the key from your ConnectWise PSA account into Elaichi, and there is no OAuth application to register and no client ID or secret to generate. Then in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, and paste https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp as the endpoint. Claude asks you to sign in to Elaichi, and from then on it can work with your ConnectWise PSA tickets, boards, companies, and contacts.

Does ConnectWise PSA work with ChatGPT and Cursor as well as Claude?

Yes. Once ConnectWise PSA is connected in Elaichi, the same endpoint, https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp, works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any other MCP client, and the Elaichi Agent. You connect ConnectWise PSA once and every client sees it, with the same access rules and the same audit log.

What can an AI agent actually do with my ConnectWise PSA data?

An agent can find and read ConnectWise PSA tickets, create new ones, add or edit ticket notes, update ticket fields such as status, and download the documents attached to a ticket. It can also look up companies, contacts, boards, and members, and update member records. ConnectWise PSA exposes a very large number of actions, so short, concrete asks such as "open tickets on the Help Desk board this week" work better than long paragraphs.

Does connecting ConnectWise PSA give the AI access to every board and company?

No. Every request runs as the person who signed in, so the AI sees only the ConnectWise PSA boards, tickets, and companies that person already has permission to see in ConnectWise PSA. Elaichi can narrow that further, for example to reading tickets but not changing members, and it can never grant more than the person's own ConnectWise PSA account allows.

Can my team share one ConnectWise PSA connection?

Yes. One person connects ConnectWise PSA in Elaichi and shares the connection with a team, and nobody else ever sees or handles the API key. Each teammate still signs in to Elaichi as themselves, so every ticket created or note added is logged under the name of the person who asked for it.

Can I stop an agent from deleting or changing things in ConnectWise PSA?

Yes. Restrictions in Elaichi apply action by action, so you can let an agent read and create ConnectWise PSA tickets while blocking ticket deletion, note edits, or changes to member records. A blocked action is never shown to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any other client at all, so no prompt, however worded, can reach it.

What happens to a ConnectWise PSA connection when someone leaves?

When you offboard someone in Elaichi, their access to ConnectWise PSA through every AI client ends at once. If they had shared a ConnectWise PSA connection with their team, it keeps working for everyone else. If you want ConnectWise PSA gone entirely, disconnecting it once in Elaichi removes it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other client together.

Does the ConnectWise PSA MCP connector work with Gemini, Codex, Claude Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. ConnectWise PSA is reached over the same MCP endpoint every client uses, so anything that speaks MCP can call it — Gemini, Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and OpenCode among them — alongside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and the Elaichi Agent. The tools on offer and the access behind them are identical whichever client asks. Only the setup screen differs.

Is Elaichi an alternative to Zapier MCP for ConnectWise PSA?

Yes. Both let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor use ConnectWise PSA. Zapier MCP fits a team that already automates in Zapier, since each person signs in and acts as themselves in that account. Elaichi fits when IT wants one address for the whole company, per-tool rules by role, and a record of every ConnectWise PSA call.

How is Elaichi different from Composio for ConnectWise PSA?

Composio gives AI agents tools and sign-in handling across 1,000+ apps, for developers building agents or people using an assistant, billed per tool call. Elaichi gives a company's own people governed access to ConnectWise PSA: one address, restrictions per role or user, and $15 per user per month. Both have role permissions and a log of every call.

Put ConnectWise PSA in front of your team

14 days on Gold, no credit card. Connect it once and pick what each team can call.

Works with
Claude ChatGPT Cursor and any other MCP client, or the Elaichi Agent.
When the trial ends
Nothing is deleted. Connections, roles and the audit log stay where they are, so subscribing picks up exactly where you left off.
